This tour includes your transport, entry fees and lunch.

The bus will first stop at Carobana, a confectionary factory making carob ‘chocolate’, nut brittles, rocky road and honeycomb. You will be given an overview of the making of these items and a demonstration after this you get to have free tasting of the goods on sale. The ginger chocolate was great. You can also enjoy their free coffee and tea.

We then travel to The Clog Barn where we will see a demonstration of the making of wooden clogs. There is a wonderful display of typical Dutch village in miniature with a working railway, all displayed with canals, bridges and windmills. All the buildings are named and exist in Holland today.

Lunch is included at the Hoey Moey Hotel. There are two choices;

• grilled barramundi, chips and coleslaw; or
• chicken schnitzel, chips and coleslaw with gravy as an option.

After lunch we will travel a little further south to the Bunker Cartoon Gallery. The bunker is a remnant of WW II for the defence of our coastline. The cartoons feature works from the comic Insanity Streak and some landscapes by the same artist, Tony Lopes. While there you will be able to see their new exhibition called “Behind the Lines”, which is a display of this year’s best political cartoons and should give you a good laugh. They have over 21,000 cartoons in their archives, and the display is changed every 4 – 6 weeks. After the gallery, we drive back to Grafton.
